Games I have played

So, a few months ago, in one of my game programming classes, the discussion board question was "what games have you played?" I decided to go through my list of memories and write down a majority of the games that I have ever played in my life. Needless to say, it was a fun little project I gave myself. Keep in mind that I wrote this before The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword came out. Although there are plenty of games I want to add as I sit here and read this, I do not want to alter its original content in any way. If you have the time, feel free to read through and comment on any shared interests :)

I've been playing games since I was about two, I suppose. My first PC was an Epson Equity I and played my first PC games which include things like Sierra's Gold Rush and a really early DOS flight simulator which ran at about 2FPS. My first console was an Atari 2600, which I still own. My first console games include Jungle Hunt, Donkey Kong, Combat, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T., Circus Atari, and of course, Pong. There were plenty other games for PC and Atari 2600 that I have played, but I'm just naming the basics for now. Because, as stated in the subject, there are way too many games to really list. I have also enjoyed playing board games such as Monopoly, Mouse Trap, and Clue, among many others. I also enjoy a game of Uno from time to time.

PC: I've played countless games on the PC including social games such as Sims Social (which I am totally kicking butt in right now), Mafia Wars, and Nightclub City. I love MMORPGs, and my first was EverQuest. I have also played a free one called Gates of Andaron. Other favourites of mine from PC include Half-Life, StarCraft I and II, Diablo I and II, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom I and II, Quake I, II, and III, Duke Nukem 1, 2, and 3D, Shadow Warrior, Command and Conquer, Descent I and II, Raptor: Call of the Shadows, WarCraft I, II, and III, Halo 2, and many many others. No, I will not succumb to the abysmal MMORPG known as World of WarCraft.

Nintendo Entertainment System: The most notable games from this console in which I have played include Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, and 3, Final Fantasy, Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers, Metroid, Legend of Zelda I and II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I, II, and III, Top Gun, Dick Tracy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Tetris, Duck Tales, Elevator Action, Ninja Gaiden I and II, Mega Man.. umm.. all of them, Excitebike, Duck Hunt, Tecmo Bowl, Double Dragon I and II, and many, many more.

Gameboy (and Gameboy Advanced SP): A lot from this one too, but I have played Super Mario Land 1 and 2, Kirby's Dream Land, Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and Minish Cap, Final Fantasy VI, Elevator Action, and a lot more which I can't think of right now.

Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Here's where my gaming starts to REALLY flourish compared to my already tremendous gaming history. CHRONO TRIGGER (yes I just put that one in all caps), Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI (in America, known as Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest, Final Fantasy II and III), Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3, Super Metroid, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario World 1 and 2, Super Mario Kart, Mario Paint, Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and 3, Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, and I can't currently even remember all of the other games I've played.

Sega Genesis: Just to name a few from this one, I have played all of the Sonic the Hedgehog games, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, and quite a few more.

Nintendo 64: This was a great console, I must say. I have played more from this, probably, than any other console other than Xbox 360. These Games include GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Mario 64, Doom 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Mystical Ninja, Duke Nukem 64, Duke Nukem: Zero Hour, Turok 1, 2, and 3, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat IV, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, Aiden's Chronicles, Quest 64, Gex 64, Donkey Kong 64, Rush 2049, Excitebike 64, and a whole bunch of other games that were stolen from me. :(

Playstation: Now here's another good one. Notable games I've played from this include Final Fantasy IV, V, VI, VII, VIII (best Final Fantasy, IMHO), and IX, Metal Gear Solid, CHRONO TRIGGER (yes, again), Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy Tactics, Duke Nukem: Time to Kill, Dance Dance Revolution, Star Ocean: The Second Story, Vagrant Story, Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3, and I know I'm missing a lot more from here.

Sega Dreamcast: It's a shame Sega stopped making consoles, but I understand their history with Nintendo. Games I've played include Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Shenmue, Space Channel 5, and a few others.

Playstation 2: SO many games from this one as well. I'll try to keep it short. Final Fantasy X and X-2, Dance Dance Revolution Max, Max2, and Extreme, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas, aaaand too many more to list.

Nintendo Gamecube: Games I've played include Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (including Master Quest), Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Legend of Zelda: Windwaker, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Eternal Darkness, and many more.

Xbox: I don't think I played too many from this one, but they include Halo 2, Black, Shenmue IIFable, Half-Life 2, Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and there are several more I cannot remember.

Nintendo Wii: This one is really fun. I enjoy games from this one including Donkey Kong Returns, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, The Conduit, GoldenEye 007, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Metroid: Other M, Wii Play, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, World of Goo, and Vegas Party.

Android: I have quite a few games on my Android including emulators with roms for NES, SNES, Genesis, and Gameboy. I also enjoy games like Pets Live (2DJ8U is my team code if you want to add me) and Angry Birds.

Xbox 360: Alright, now here's the motherlode. My gamertag is "DarkWulf 8110" if you want to look me up. I think it's the gamerscore offered that draws me in so much. Mine is currently over 130,000. I subscribe to GameFly solely to obtain games for completion. Since the Xbox 360 tracks games that I've played, I will list them in order of most recently played. *takes deep breath* Portal 2, Phantasy Star Universe, Uno, Duke Nukem Forever, Quake Arena Arcade, Final Fantasy XIII, Toy Story 3, Fable II, Viva PiƱata, Red Dead Redemption, Alice: Madness Returns, Avatar Kinect, Dance Central, Kinect Adventures, Army of Two, Left 4 Dead, Halo: Reach, Planet 51, Disney Bolt, Build a Buddy, Googly Eyes, Bobble Head, Monkey Island: SE, Surf's Up, Kinect Me, Far Cry 2, Age of Booty, Call of Duty: World at War, Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth II, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Turok, Mirror's Edge, Saw, Enemy Territories: Quake Wars, Halo Wars, Duke Nukem 3D, F.E.A.R., Galaga, Shrek: Forever After, Magic the Gathering, Left 4 Dead 2, Puzzle Quest 2, Final Fantasy XI, Call of Duty Classic, Family Game Night 3, Perfect Dark, Blur, Prison Break, Bomberman: Act Zero, Unreal Tournament 3, Bee Movie Game, Lara Croft, Guardian of Light, Assault Heroes, Gauntlet, Hydrophobia, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Sonic 4 Episode I, Xbox Live Labs, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, The Sims 3, Banjo-Tooie, Megamind, Game Room (I own about 35 classic games in this and have played them all), Gears of War 2, Outpost Kaloki X, Wik: Fable of Souls, Pac-Man Championship Edition, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX, Duke Nukem - Manhattan Project, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Fable II Pub Games, Perfect Dark: Zero, Sonic the Hedgehog (the newer one), Halo 3: ODST, Gears of War, Pinball FX 2, Sonic Adventure, Madden NFL 08, Need for Speed: Carbon, Harm's Way, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Tom Clancy's EndWar, Hydro Thunder, Monday Night Combat, Limbo, Borderlands, Call of Duty 4, Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Encore, Doritos Crash Course, Splosion Man, Naughty Bear, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Assassin's Creed II, MLB 2K6, Family Game Night, Hexic HD, Monopoly, Ninja Gaiden 2, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, The Orange Box, Mega Man 10, Mega Man 9, Resident Evil 5, Doom II, Ice Age 3, Wolfenstein 3D, Battlefield 1943, Quake 4, Final Fantasy: Crystal Defenders, Brain Challenge, Too Human, Prince of Persia, Fuzion Frenzy 2, Jumper, Grand Theft Auto IV, TMNT 1989 Arcade, Aegis Wing, Lost Via Domus, Crackdown, Luxor 2, Boom Boom Rocket, Marble Blast Ultra, Braid, TotemBall, FIFA 06: Road to Fifa World Cup, The Simpsons Game, Viking, Sega Superstars Tennis, Feeding Frenzy, Castle Crashers, NHL 07, Vandal Hearts, Halo 3, Arkadian Warriors, Beautiful Katamari, Devil May Cry 4, Dead or Alive 4, Soul Calibur IV, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (played all 20+ games included in this), Dance Dance Revolution Universe, Turtles in Time: Reshelled, Doom, Command and Conquer 3, Bullet Witch, Infinite Undiscovery, Call of Duty 3, Cars, Open Season, BioShock, Kane and Lynch: Dead Men, Geometry Wars Evolved, Disney-Pixar Up, Condemned, 1 vs 100 (I wish they would bring this game back), Two Worlds, Puzzle Quest, A Kingdom for Keflings, Tomb Raider: Legend, Worms, Spyglass Board Games, NBA 2K7, Madden NFL 07, Kameo, NBA 2K6, Sneak King (pfft), Pocketbike Racer, Big Bumpin, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas, Tekken 6, Terminator Salvation, Bomberman Live, The Godfather, Saints Row, Prey, Lost Odyssey, Lord of the Rings: Conquest, Pinball FX, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Wall-E, Spiderwick Chronicles, Lego Indiana Jones, Meet the Robinsons, Big Game Hunter, Fight Night 3, Dash of Destruction, Ms. Pac-Man, Banjo-Kazooie, Portal: Still Alive, Enchanted Arms, Shrek the Third, The Bourne Conspiracy, Kung Fu Panda, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Bully Scholarship Edition, Cars: Mater-National, Gun, Eragon, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Ratatouille, Hardwood Spades, Tetris Splash, Yaris, Double Dragon, Golden Axe, Bankshot Billiards 2, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Burning Earth, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mutant Storm Reloaded, Bejeweled 2, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Far Cry Instincts: Predator, Quake 2, Contra, King Kong, and Texas Hold'em.
