World of Starcraft

I was just rummaging through online stuff about games and saw a picture on how games have evolved. One of the pictures showed how Warcraft has evolved. I like Warcraft. Never really got into World of Warcraft, but I know plenty of people that play it. As far as MMORPGs go, I've always been an EverQuest and Final Fantasy XI junky. Speaking of EverQuest, guess what's going to be free to play soon!?!?!? I suppose I'll be getting back into the game very soon (forgot my old credentials, so I have to start from scratch). But that will be a later post..

Anyway, I got a little sidetracked. So, yes I like Warcraft. But what is something that Blizzard makes that I absolutely love? Yeah, besides Diablo. That's right, Starcraft! Do you know what would be awesome? It would be awesome if Blizzard would hurry up and finish the other two Starcraft II campaigns and get to work on WoS.. or whatever they choose to call it (hopefully something better). Do you know what else would be awesome? It would be awesome if they hire me onto their dev team! ;D

Now a lot of you have probably heard of a Sci-Fi MMO that Blizzard is working on called Titan. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with Starcraft. Who knows? It may still be pretty wicked.

Okay, so your task is to share this post with everyone; let's start a petition. "We want a Starcraft MMO!"

Also, pick up your copy of Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm while you're at it!

Zee reports

So, I'm sure you've noticed that I have posted two reports this morning. These were school assignments last year that I have decided to share with the world. I hope that you find them informative. These are based purely on facts and are completely unbiased. They are original papers written by me, and the references that I have used were given full credit complete with APA formatting. Feel free to read them and comment on them! I may be posting some more later on, as they tend to like making me write a lot.

The Sims Social: It Bugs!

This was my actual post in The Sims Social forum: It Bugs! In essence, I love the game. It keeps me entertained for 5 minutes randomly scattered throughout the day. BUT! There are times when it drives me absolutely insane! The latest is the increasing number of popups every time you play. Ever since there have been more popups, I have found myself playing less and less each day, bringing it down to the minimum once a day (I have to log in for the daily log in bonus). Anyway, here are my thoughts on this matter:

Games I have played

So, a few months ago, in one of my game programming classes, the discussion board question was "what games have you played?" I decided to go through my list of memories and write down a majority of the games that I have ever played in my life. Needless to say, it was a fun little project I gave myself. Keep in mind that I wrote this before The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword came out. Although there are plenty of games I want to add as I sit here and read this, I do not want to alter its original content in any way. If you have the time, feel free to read through and comment on any shared interests :)

The moon has emerged from the clouds

So, I've decided to take up in the art of blogging. I feel it is due time that I start expressing myself in hopes that others will understand my view of the world.

First, let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is John. You may also call me Twitch or Zell, or DarkWulf, of course. I was born in Texas in 1983. I am an experienced gamer (and by experienced, I mean I've been in the game since Nintendo was making games for Atari). I am also studying to be a game programmer. I am a full-time student at DeVry University. I am not married, but I am sure that will change at some point. But, enough about myself.

I will be making my first true post shortly, so stay tuned and keep checking back. You might be very interested in what I have to say ;D
